What I've Been Up To (Or Down To?)

Well. I've been pumping lots of iron! :) Stilleto's weightlifting posts really helped to motivate me! I've been really hitting it hard to finish up what I started long ago and get to my fitness goals!

Hey Stilleto! Get ready! I want to arm wrestle you. ;)

I've been going to the gym, doing (the dreaded) cardio and really cleaned up my diet. I'm down 10 lbs in two months and am really gaining strength. I lift heavy. I find it really tones me up fast! I have 10 more lbs and the scale will be were I want it to be. Although, I'm less worried about the number and more focused on my muscle-tone and health. :) I had an older lady ask me and my workout buddy if we were training to be on a football team! I guess we are doing "boy" exercises?? CLASSIC! I hit a plateau a few weeks back. They can be completely discouraging. I ended up switching things up an blasted through it! I started following Jillian Michael's "Making The Cut" program. I just needed somthing different. I'm shrinking fat (and growing muscles) again! Thanks Jillian!!
This manicure is a few days old. It's Sally Hansen Iced Coffee (2 coats) with black konad special polish. I like it!
Example of my food. Here is a mushrroom and fontina cheese omelet. YUM!
Bun-less 1/4 lber with CHEESE. Mmmm... CHEESE!!!

Great mani! Jilian Michaels is da bomb!! I did her 30-Day Shred a couple months back and I got great I just need to get back on the bandwagon and work this butt off! Congrats on your fat loss!! Keep up the good work.

WOOHOO! Great job!

LOVE that you lift heavy! So many women think lifting heavy makes you look like a female bodybuilder! uhh NO! I think we prove that wrong!

I am so proud of you!

I SOOOO could not have held my tongue if I'd have been there when that woman said that! UGH I hate that!

Your food is making me hungry btw! Tummy wasn't feeling so hot so I'm fasting today!

Oh, one last thing...I'm definitely up for an arm wrestling match! We'll record it for our readers! LOL

I'm right there with you, I've gotten desperate enough to try Weight Watchers and I need to get my butt in gear with exercising.
