I finally found some new bedding I liked. My old chenille bedspread was my husband's before we got married... 8 years ago!! It was time for something new. I couldn't find art I liked for above the bed. Everything was just not right. So, I went to the art supply store and bought a canvas! How liberating to have a HUGE painting area (instead of a teeny tiny nail!!) :) I found a picture of King Kong in a children's book It was just perfect! I tweaked it a smidge and changed the colors. I'm really liking the way this looks. I giggle every time I see it. It is acrylic paint on an el cheapo 36 x36 canvas. Hope you get a giggle out of it too!PS I plan on sharing more house pics soon. It's almost 98% done! :)

I found the bedding at Homegoods. I looked on the tags and it says Pem American Bedding. I don't have the design style anymore. :( I'm so glad you like it!
