Twilight Book Cover Art For PHD's Challenge

I just love Polish Hoarder Disorder's challenges! When I saw the book cover challenge I just had to make time for it. I figured Twilight would be fun. :) I used Maybelline Colorama Black Magic, OPI Thrill of Brazil and Sally Hansen Iced Coffee.

Native Art For My Favorite Blackfoot

When EvilAngel picked waterfalls or hummingbirds for the viewer's choice nail art, I knew I had to do hummingbirds. I love hummingbirds and I love EvilAngel. Not just for her awesome blog and crazy cool nails. She has been a friend and helped me through a scary time (when my son was sick.) So, I decided to put a Blackfoot spin on the hummingbird theme. The feathers are supposed to look like the ones I saw on the Blackfoot Flag. The hummingbird is inspired by the art of Arlene. When I applied the top coat.. Things got smudgey. :( I know better than to trust Poshe. This manicure was done just for you. Thanks for being you!

The white is good ol' OPI Alpine White. The black is art deco striper and the red is bloody mary scarlet sacrifice.

True Blood Sucker for Sookie Nail Art

Thank you Grace! You asked for a True Blood manicure and here is my attempt at one! I love the Sookie Stackhouse series. I love the Aurora Teagarden Series. I love the Lily Bard series. I love Charlaine Harris. Her books are so much fun to read. In fact, I've already had to have my nook e-reader replaced.. I wore the forward button out! I guess I read a lot.

The red is OPI Double Decker Red (thanks A.L!) The black is Maybelline Colorama Black Magic. The silver is Essie Opera. I thought it was funny to make this vamp a bit sparkly. Trust me. The Sookie Stackhouse vampires don't sparkle!

This is the art from the True Blood HBO series. It is also the cover art on some of the Sookie Stackhouse books. The new season of True Blood starts at 9:00 June 13 on HBO.

Felix The Cat! The Wonderful, Wonderful Cat!

It's about darn time I did a Felix The Cat manicure! :) Felix is really helping me by counting down to moving day. The new house is completely gutted!! Now... putting it back together without breaking a nail... Thank goodness for my awesome family's help. When did my nails get long again? I guess that is a bonus of not painting your nails often. It seems like they grow so much between manicures! I can't wait to be settled and be able to paint my nails more often again!

I love colorama pink pinata flakes! They are the perfect size, easy to apply and very smooth! Opi rose to the ovation is a gorgeous berry red. Combine the two and .... They're GRRRRREAT!

Damone Roberts 1968 Pinstripe

I used the new exclusive Damone Roberts Opi. I had to call his Beverly Hills salon to get this color. It is supposed to be available on his Amazon store front. I don't see it there yet.

The black stripe is Colorama Black Magic.
