Milani Hi-Tech And House Renovation Pics

First, the polish part of the post! This is two coats of Milani's Hi-tech. No top coat. I feel like top coats dull the blingy rainbow! This is a very, very smooth holo. It is wearing better than my other holo colors. I might have to go back and get the rest of these!

Ignore this part if you aren't into home renovating!! :)

Now! The reason I've been so lagging on my posting/manicuring!! Pictures of the house I'll be moving into in April. These are the before pics (after the demo was done.) I can't wait to share all the progress as it's being made. :) The pics are panoramic! I took them just for my blogger buddies. :) For some reason the pics aren't clickable... Hmm.. I'll try to fix it later.

This is a picture of the front door and living room. The kitchen is behind us at this point. The wall on the right was COVERED in a huge mirror. The stinky chair to the left is the last bit of furniture that was left behind. Not my stinky chair. : )

Here is a closer shot of the living room. It opens up to the left behind the wall.

Kitchen view facing the backyard. Every square inch was covered in wallpaper!! Ugh. All the cabinets are primed and we are painting them a creamy white. The countertops are Uba Tuba Granite. There will be a white subway tile backsplash all the way up the wall under the cabinets.
Kitchen with back to the yard. 1. this is where the fridge will live 2. There will be a granite built in desk here.
Here are the color swatches for the walls. The cabinets/shelves will be white. Wanna guess which one I picked!!???

I picked up the Silver and Blue Milani Holos...thinking I need the others now...I love a good holo.
As for color, First guess is 2, second is 4.
I'd go with 4 to bring more light in...so what did you pick??

O.M.G. Your kitchen will be to die for! I would have chosen #1 or #5.
What is opposite the front door...another room?

It's really irritating that I cannot the Milani Holos! There are 3 CVS and a Kmart within a 20 mile radius of my home. They all have the Milani Neons, but no Holos.

I love your home. I am in interior design and looking at your progess makes me smile. I guess #4.

Here's a tip for choosing a shade. cover 4 out of the 5 swatches with a big piece of paper and view them one at a time rather than having them compete with each other. This way the shade can speak for itself and you can see if you will really like it and if it truly will work in the space.

Having them compete will make the shade look different from how it actually appears.

Try it and you'll see what I mean.

I really LOVE your new home. The curved built-in's are stunning. I can't wait to see more pics.

EvilAngel: Thanks! I hope the house turns out cute. I'll keep you updated. :)

LaqueredLizard:They are great holos! I regret only getting the one.

Ainos2: Opposite the front door is the hallway to the bedrooms. I think I found a blueprint in the house. I'll try to get a pic. I was inspired to post these pics after seeing your kitchen!! :)

Gildedangel: Thanks! :)

BarcelonaChair: Great tip! I kind of did that on instinct. I held up two of the primed white cabinet doors. It really helped the colors stand out alone. Paper would have been WAY easier!

Nihrida: Thanks! The color I picked.....

Number one!! It's called Spring Cactus. In real life it is the color of old jadeite glass.

Love the nails and the house! I'm not going to guess the color, since you already revealed it, but my guess would have been a tie between 1 or 4..good choice!

Felix wants you to check out my nail art!!
