The challenge at phd's blog this week was Candyland. I loved Queen Frostine. She was my favorite character on the game board. So, I attempted to do her portrait. The pink frost is a franken (custom blended) color. This was a fun one! I'd type more but I just finished a one hour spin class and I really need some food (and maybe a full body massage!) :)

Vintage Cowboy Nail Art For PHD's Challenge
Here is my entry for polish hoarder disorder's challenge. We had to use (at least two) of the colors red, green, teal and white. Optional silver and glitter. The theme was vintage! My kind of theme!! The other entries are awesome! It is so cool to see how different everyone's designs are! For my entry, I went with the vintage cowboy look. I just love the vintage western style. There was a ton of inspirational material in this genre! I found this vintage fabric and it fit the bill for the challenge! Click the picture to see where I found it.

The ring finger is a rooster and the middle finger is a cowboy on a bucking bronco. The base of the rooster's tail has two pieces of glitter.

Here are the colors I used to meet the requirements:
Red: China Glaze China Rouge
Green: Unnamed Goldie
Teal: Rescue Beauty Lounge Teal
White: OPI Alpine White
Silver: (kind of a loose interpretation) China Glaze Recycle
