I found the new maybelline Summer 2010 Salsa Sun collection today. Could I just pass on by??? Nope! Above is La La Lime. Wow! What a pretty green. The shimmer is really hard to see in the bottle. It reminds me of more of guacamole than limes.. Yum. This is a quick swatch. No basecoat and no topcoat. I had just removed a bright red. So, my cuticles may look extra red from that. The texture was a bit gel-like and gritty like the last maybelline. It smoothed out and ended up nice. 
HOT HOT HOT! This red is practically neon. So pretty and so bright! This is two coats. No base or top coats.

I saw those in the store and wondered about them. Thanks for swatching them. They both look better than I had guessed from outside the bottle. That green is a lot prettier than I expected. Hmm, I may have to get them now! I haven't picked out a Cinco de Mayo manicure yet. -JenB
